The new sustainable master plan will guide future development on all 260 acres of the university's existing campus, which encompasses a newly acquired 50-acre parcel. The plan will encompass a land-use strategy for the campus that includes recommendations for renovations and new construction, and a development plan for the newly acquired acreage; strategy and design concepts for landscape, parking, and pedestrian and vehicular paths, as well as campus edges and connections to the community and neighborhoods; strategy and design concepts for academics, housing, including student neighborhoods; and strategy and design concepts for athletic facilities and dining services.
